By accessing or using AlaskaTides.app (the “Service”), operated by Four Media Group LLC, an Alaska limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Description of the Service
AlaskaTides.app is a digital tidebook for Alaska. It is provided for general information and planning purposes only and is not a navigation product or a substitute for official charts, tide tables, or professional advice.
Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Use conservative safety margins and multiple independent, authoritative sources when making decisions on or near the water.

No warranties
AlaskaTides.app and all information, data, and services provided through it are offered “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non‑infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service or its data will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, uninterrupted, or error‑free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AlaskaTides.app, its owners, operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed USD $1,000.
Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your access to the Service, immediately and without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or any other legal agreement referenced on this site.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and jurisdictional provisions) will remain in effect.
Governing law and disputes
